Our favorite actor (a.k.a 'beloved idol') has finally landed minor roles in several big budget movies and TV shows. That's not bad at all. I can definitely see him jumping from one supporting character to another until a leading role comes his way. Let's hope he'll be able to win the right people in the industry so he could continue inspiring us with his acting, but in the meantime, we have these to look out for :)

"My Mother's Curse" (2012) - Starring Seth Rogen & Barbra Streisand
"Argo" (2012) - A CIA drama directed by (and starring) Ben Affleck

TV (2011) - guest spots
"Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea" (NBC)
"Scandal" (ABC) - A new political drama series by "Grey's Anatomy" producer Shonda Rimes

Castle Season 3
Episode 5: Anatomy of a Murder

By far, it was his most heartfelt performance. One of my top favorite Michael roles alongside Smallville and Hidden Palms. <3

It wasn't 'til a month ago that I stumbled upon the short pilot for this webseries that was filmed during the Writers Strike back in 2008. Created by screenwriter/producer John August of Charlie's Angels and featuring internet phenomenon Ze Frank as the lead, this post-apocalyptic dark comedy has an intriguing storyline.

It's great to see our Michael playing one of the show's main characters. I heard there's a potential this series will be greenlighted for production, so hopefully we'll get to see more of it. What do you all think of the video?

For more info on The Remnants, feel free to visit John August's official site: http://johnaugust.com/archives/2009/the-remnants-in-full You can even find the script and character profiles there.

Let's hope he'll be getting more acting offers soon :) I can't wait to see his guest-starring role in the new Josh Schwartz webseries Rockville CA.

I have really bad news :

Sorry, Charlie-Megan fans, it looks like it's the end of the road for Privileged's unrequited duo.

Michael Cassidy, a.k.a. the Dawson to Joanna Garcia's Joey, is departing the show for reasons both creative and budgetary. He'll make his final appearance in this season's 15th episode when Charlie decides to go back to college.

Let's hope there will actually be a second season and that Charlie will be back !
